For Researchers (Project Creators / Customers)
1. Account Responsibility
You’re responsible for the accuracy of all information provided during account setup and project creation. Any misuse, misrepresentation, or breach of trust may result in account suspension or termination.
2. Project Requirements & Accuracy
When creating a project, you must clearly describe the research goal, target audience, session type, and any technical requirements. You are responsible for ensuring this information is correct and updated as needed.
3. Payments & Charges
All charges are shown transparently during project creation. By submitting a project, you agree to the associated fees and understand that payment may be required in advance.
Refunds are not guaranteed, but we’re fair humans—if there’s been an error on our side, we’ll investigate and do our best to resolve it.
4. Participant Engagement
We aim to match you with the right participants based on your selected criteria. However, we can’t guarantee that participants will behave exactly as you expect. If someone clearly doesn’t meet the brief or underperforms, let us know—we’ll review and offer replacements or credits where appropriate.
5. Session Recording & Data Use
By using our platform, you confirm you have the rights to record your research sessions (if applicable) and store or process data according to your local data protection regulations, including GDPR if applicable.
We are not liable for how you store, use, or share session recordings once downloaded or exported from the platform.
6. Confidentiality
You agree to treat participant information with care. Any personal data accessed via the platform must be used solely for research purposes and not shared or sold to third parties.
7. Platform Limitations
While we aim for 99.9% uptime and a seamless experience, bugs and outages happen. We are not liable for any loss resulting from temporary unavailability, errors, or third-party integrations (like payment or video tools).
8. Code of Conduct
We reserve the right to remove researchers from the platform for abusive behaviour, inappropriate requests, or unprofessional conduct toward participants or our support team.
For Participants (Researchers’ Recruits)
1. Eligibility
You confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you meet the criteria for the project.
2. Session Attendance & Payment
You will be paid only if:
- You attend the full session on time
- Your tech setup is solid
- You meaningfully participate
- You meet the outlined brief
Late arrivals, no-shows, or unprepared participants may not be paid. If your session is deemed low-quality or incomplete by the researcher, they may withhold payment.
3. Technical Requirements
You’re responsible for making sure your internet, camera, microphone, and environment are up to scratch. If your setup causes issues, you may not be eligible for payment.
4. Confidentiality & Non-Disclosure
Everything you see, hear, or discuss during a session is confidential. That means:
- No screenshots
- No recording
- No sharing what you saw or heard
This includes ideas, visuals, documents, or questions discussed. Breach of this clause may lead to legal action and a permanent ban.
5. Intellectual Property
Everything shown during the session belongs to the researcher/client. Don’t reuse, share, or adapt it—ever.
6. Tax Responsibility
You’re participating as an independent contributor. It’s your job to manage your taxes according to your country’s laws. We don’t withhold tax or provide tax documentation.
7. Right to Remove Participants
We reserve the right to remove or block users for:
- No-shows
- Unprofessional behaviour
- Sharing false information
- Breaching confidentiality
8. Session Recordings
Your sessions may be recorded for research purposes. By joining a session, you agree to be recorded and for your input to be used for product or service development.
